Yellow and Blue Rubber Duckie 1st Birthday Party - August 4, 2012 by Admin

How precious is this RUBBER DUCKY YELLOW & BLUE FIRST BIRTHDAY PARTY submitted by Marina Guimarães of Marina Guimaraes Papelaria?! I adore the little yellow ducks “floating” on top of the blue parfait dessert! The rubber ducky in the punch bowl couldn’t be cuter, too! Such a cute party with a lot of darling ideas. This theme would be perfect for a baby shower, too!

Marina said- “This was Catarina’s 1st birthday. Catarina’s mom loves yellow so she chose the rubber duck theme. The party was decorated in blue and yellow, hydrangeas and daisies, rubber ducks floating in aquariums and more. Ducks were everywhere!”

Tiffany Blue House Warming Party - February 20, 2012 by Admin

I fell in love with this beautiful TIFFANY INSPIRED HOUSE WARMING PARTY sent in by Daisy Kelvin of Leo & Bella. I mean, how cute are those delicate tiffany blue cupcakes and skeleton key cookies?!

Daisy said– “Here is my tiffany inspired housewarming party for a girl’s new bachelorette pad. She requested something feminine & elegant and the first thing that pop into my mind was blue, white and black an inspiration drawn from a stationery set by Polkadot Prints that I fell in love with.

I decided to use all clear jars, cake stands and vessels to bring a little vintage into the table as most of the pieces on the table are antique which also complements the mirrored buffet that we sat the dessert table on.

Guest were served champagne and desserts. We had cake pops, mini lemon meringue, banana cupcakes and the yummiest Panna Cotta by Helen of Kiss My Cakes. Also on the table we had the ‘Bastille’ Moët & Chandon + Black Current macaroons in white and a Violet and Blueberry baby blue macaroon from Melbourne’s cutest macaroon vendor La Belle Miette. We have 2 candy jars filled with orange blossom and vanilla Persian Fairy Floss and 2 jars of white chocolate macadamias. The gorgeous Noo from Dessert Menu, Please created the cutest Tiffany key cookies on the table and smaller ones filled in mini apothecary jars as a take home gift.”

“Something Blue” Bridal Shower - April 21, 2011 by Admin

A friend is throwing a bridal shower for her husband's sister (the bride's brother/my friend's husband will be the "Man" of Honor). The bride loves blue, so a "something blue" theme could work nicely!

Add some blue to these sweet invites:

The decor– lots of blue! Blue straws, blue cones, blue boxes and blue puffs for days!

Give or have guests make blue flower pins, that they may be able to re-use for the wedding!

This bride is a teacher, so my friend thought a game of mad libs would be fun– have guests leave wishes for couple, or game that tells the story of the couple.

Or go out all out with the paper games, and do a he-said-she-said game with paper covered pencils.

Could be a cute afternoon! What do you think?

Until Next Week! xoxo EventLucky
