Q; How do we obtain our marriage license?
A ; You must apply for a license in the state you are planning to have your marriage officiated. Refer to the Wedding Planner page for the state you are planning to get married in for detailed information about the requirements for that state. Example if you are getting married in Florida, see Florida Wedding Planner page.
Q; Do we have a choice in the type of ceremony that we want?
A; Your wedding is pre-planned and arranged for you by you by one of our wedding specialists. If you have special requests then please let us know before you arrive. We can fit in a special poem or reading, and you may even write your own vows, provided that you forward them to us in advance. Every couple will have a choice between having traditional, religious, non-religious, Commitment, or spiritual but not religious wedding vows.
Q; Do we need to meet in advance? What about a rehearsal?
A; For the smaller wedding packages that involve just the minister, photography and music, we don’t really need to meet before the wedding. If you have ordered one of the bigger packages including an arch, chairs, or any type of set up, then you may want to schedule a consultation/rehearsal before the ceremony. There is an extra fee for the rehearsal which varies from state to state. Ask your wedding specialist/planner in your location for more details.
Q; How far in advance should I book my wedding?
A; As soon as you have picked a wedding date, it is advisable to go ahead and make your travel arrangements and then reserve your wedding ceremony date with us. Please note that we can give you a quote on all-inclusive travel packages that includes your wedding services as well as your hotel and flight costs. We will be happy to assist you in booking your travel arrangements and help you to select a hotel that is close to your wedding location.
